| Grand Museum of Egypt |
| Description | The winning Designer in the world wide architectural competition has established a Joint Venture of Multinational Consultancy Firms, in order to enter an agreement with the Ministry of Culture for preparing the Tender Documents for the Construction of the Grand Museum of Egypt. The JV (heneghan.peng.architects | Ove Arup & Partners | Buro Happold) has selected SHAKER as the Local Mechanical & Electrical Consultant to submit its services to Buro Happold as Sub-Consultant.
The Grand Museum site is very close to the Pyramids, where around 110,000 square meter of unique building shall be built to form, together with the Pyramids, a National Archaeological Park of Egypt.
Beside the Exhibition & special exhibition area, the musuem will also include commercial, adminstration, services, security, auditoruim & meeting rooms, conservation center, and energy center.
